Mr. E, 69 years old is accompanied by his daughter to the Emergency… Mr. E, 69 years old is accompanied by his daughter to the Emergency Room with acute pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. He describes the pain as excruciating. Several hours ago, the pain was less and he was stable. He also complains of having low-grade fever and had vomited twice. He is anxious, sweating and pallor.Physical examination reveals; Temperature – 37.9°C, Blood pressure – 122/72 mmHg, Pulse – 112 per min., Respiration – 28 per min., bloating abdomen and pain is elicited on palpation. His skin is cool and moist, and colour is pale.
