He was not wearing seat belt and was ejected.  and is enable to clear his oral secretion. He has an open femur fracture with haemorrhage as well as bleeding from a scalp laceration. Contusions are present over the left chest wall and upper quadrant of the abdomen . vital signs include a blood pressure of 90/60 mm hg, pulse rate of 125/ min, and respiratory rate of 35/ min, the patient is confused  not moving the lower extremities and localizing to pain  in the upper extremity, opening his eyes to pain his skin is cool and clammy. Vital Signs      Systolic blood pressure (mm Hg) 90 Diastolic blood pressure (mm Hg) 52  Oral temperature 37.5 Co Heart rate (beats per minute) 120, irregular Respiratory rate (breaths per minute) 33, labored Oxygen saturation 89%  What does the primary survey indicate? What is the most urgent initial intervention     Health Science Science Nursing NURSING 317 Share (0)
